Fusion

Fusion is an exciting new mechanic coming to Chicken Derby in early 2023. With Fusion you can take any two chickens, give them a bit of Fusion Serum, and you'll merge them into a brand-new chicken.

New Chicken Traits

The new chicken will inherit traits from the two material chickens used to create it. So it could take the Body and Talent of one, while taking the Terrain Preference and Beak of the other. This will allow you to give your chicken unique combinations that do not exist in the original 33,333 Spicy Chickens.

Fusion Serum

Fusing chickens requires Fusion Serum. You need 2 Fusion Serums (1 for each chicken) to perform a Fusion. We'll be doing an airdrop of Fusion Serum to all holders of a chicken that have run at least 300 races.

You can also earn Fusion Serum by winning Chicken Derby tournaments, events, or just purchase it.

Locking Traits

Which traits will be passed down to your newly fused chicken is random. If one of your material chickens has the talent Black Hole, and the other has the talent CK-47, there is an equal chance of your new chicken getting either.

You may use extra Fusion Serum to lock in certain traits, guaranteeing that it'll be passed along. Though you can't lock everything, so you'll need to choose very carefully what you do lock.

Mutations

Fusing is a complicated process, and occasionally you may not get out what you put in.
