Pecking Order

What is Pecking Order?

Pecking Orders are a ranking system for chickens, the higher a chicken's Pecking Order, the stronger racer it is. There are six Pecking Orders in total:

S - Highest

A

B

C

D

E - Lowest

Each race also has a Pecking Order. You can only enter a chicken into a race that has the same Pecking Order.

Higher Pecking Orders have bigger prizes in some tournaments, as well as larger prize pools for their free entry races.

POP

POP stands for Pecking Order Points. Your chicken will gain or lose POP, each time it runs in a paid entry race. The amount of POP it gains or loses will depend on its finishing position in the race.

Promotion & Demotion

An unraced chicken will start with 20 POP. When it gets to 75 POP, it will be promoted to the next higher Pecking Order. When a chicken gets to 0 POP, it'll be demoted to the next lower Pecking Order.

Whenever a chicken is promoted or demoted, its POP is immediately reset to 20.

A chicken can never have more than 75 or less than 0 POP.

Minimum Pecking Order

Each chicken is assigned an MPO (Minimum Pecking Order), which is determined based on several of the chicken's traits, such as Heritage, Perfection, Stock, and others. A chicken can never go into a Pecking Order that is lower than its MPO.
