# Getting started

### **How Chicken Derby Works**

In Chicken Derby you race Chickens. Chickens come in many colors, with different abilities and a variety of traits. You race your chickens against other player chickens, and when your chicken wins, you win.

Plus you own your chicken. You're free to trade chickens with other players and try to get the best racers.
